Chaeronea, 2 August 338 BC: A day that changed the world" is the title of the temporary exhibition organised by the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, which is until March 2024.
So modern and so ancient..
It's a fact, when we visit a museum, we don't really stand and observe or even take a look of the inscriptions. The most of us usually try to see the most known or impressive objects, quickly check out the explanation and take, of course, a picture of the moment.

November is slowly coming to its end and December is going to take its place. The visits though of the archaeological sites and museums are still going on, without giving the feeling that the tourist season is over, since it's winter.
National Glyptotheque
The National Glyptotheque is one of the important, but not much known museums of Athens. It's located in Athens, in an area of 6500 m2 in the Army Park in Goudi. It's an annex of the National Gallery of Greece.
International Conference Greek- Spanish Literature
September started with lots of events happening in Athens. From the 30th of August until the 2nd of September was held the International Conference Greek- Spanish Literature with the title "Ecos y Resplandores Helenos en la Narrativa Hispana".
The myrtle plant (myrtus communis)
The myrtle plant (myrtus communis) symbolised beauty, youth and pleasure in antiquity. Its exquisite blooms, evergreen leaves and captivating fragrance is related to the goddess of beauty and love Aphrodite who hid behind a myrtle bush to cover her nudity, when she rose from the sea on the island of Cyprus.
