"Elytis House - Museum"
A new entry in Athens is the Elytis House- Museum, which opened its doors a couple of months ago.
Odysseus Elytis, born in Herakleion of Crete on 2nd November of 1911, is a major Greek poet. In 1979, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. He devoted himself to poetry until his death on 18 March 1996.
The communication manager Eva Karagianmaki welcomed the guides and inducted us in the world of Elytis and his poetry!
It's an interesting alternative to visit in Athens!
